Queue whisper

To practise expressions we learned in a song I’ve found this exercise online and I’m curious how it would work out.

They say to line up the kids, have the first one read or listen to a sentence and whisper it to the next one who then whispers it to the next one and so on, until they reach the end of the line. The last one then can either say it out loud or write it down.

We used to play this with a story when I was little and so much of it was lost between people that I’m really curious how it would work with language learners.

I didn’t have a chance to do this exercise yet but I’m looking forward to it.

In April I set myself a challenge to use more music when teaching English. I passionately believe in the power of music to make everything better and I want to motivate my students to feel more relaxed, and at the same time more inspired about learning English. I’m sure it’ll be a journey with ups and downs! čśë

My soul breathes music and exhales words. Be careful, you might end up in one of my creations one day. And you might even like it.
